WHAT ARE THE WEIGHT DIVISION’S FOR WOMENS BJJ?
There are several weight division’s for women’s BJJ competitions/tournaments depending on the type of tournament you are entering.
Some Grappling tournaments require you to weight in the same day or the night before.
There a several well known tournaments that travel around the world as well as locally. Some share the same weight classes and some have a slight change.

IBJJF– The most well known and prestigious BJJ tournament that travel across the world.
Requirements to compete:
- School must to be registered with the IBJJF

- IBJJF approved Gi and No Gi

NBJJF– Second biggest national Brazilian jiu jitsu tournament founded in 2005.

- School must be registered with the NBJJF
- Fill out a form to become a member
- NBJJF approved GI and no Gi

Grappling Industries- A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission- wrestling tournament that focuses on the round robin style format.
Requirements to compete:
- Must Register for event
- pay registration fee
- Gi and No Gi uniforms are less strict

NAGA- Naga has been throwing grappling events for over a decade and in the past has had lots of former and current UFC/MMA fighters compete for their tournament.
